1. The initiator of the project is Northern Star Limited Liability Company
The company was founded in October 2006. In April 2008, the company won an auction for a licence to develop the Syradasaiskoye coal deposit. The company is actively conducting exploration work, based on which the reserves approved by the State Commission on Mineral Reserves amount to 153 mn tonnes.
2. The project investor is AEON Infrastructure Corporation
It is a unique combination of a private equity fund and a management company specialising in crisis management at large industrial assets. The corporation invests in businesses that require management restructuring or additional financing to expand operations.
3. Consultant — IMC Montan Limited Liability Company
The company has been operating in Russia and the CIS since 1992. Scope of activity — all solid minerals. Main services — mining auditing and engineering consulting. In Russia and the CIS, IMC Montan operates through a Russian legal entity, IMC Montan LTD, founded by IMC MontanLtd. (UK).
