Northern Star

Northern Star LLC (part of AEON Holding) is implementing a project to develop the Syradasaiskoye deposit located 110 km southeast of the settlement of Dikson in the Taymyr Dolgano-Nenetsky District of Krasnoyarsk Territory. The deposit is estimated to hold more than 5 bn tonnes of coal. The project includes the creation of an open-pit coal mine with an annual capacity of 5 mn tonnes in the first phase and 10 mn tonnes in the second, the construction of a processing plant along with the creation of the necessary infrastructure, including a marine coal terminal, a road, a shift camp, a power plant, an airfield and other facilities. By 2025, the investment in the project will amount to more than RUB 45 bn.

The total investment in the project is expected to exceed RUB 100 bn.
